Key Account Manager for PrimeFeed International

Are you into sales, agriculture and international business? Would you like to sell and build up a European distributor network for our high value products, Primefeed. In that case, you may very well be interested in this newly created position as Key Account Manager for PrimeFeed International in Vilofoss. We are looking for a highly motivated person to internationally elaborate, maintain and develop the sales strategy in start-up in countries where we are not present today.


Vilofoss is one of the world's most productive, competitive, resource-efficient and sustainable agricultural production companies, and we have has cooperated with farmers and their animal productions for more than 80 years. Our well-founded knowledge and experience are based on extensive research and development activities within the sector of nutrition for all animal groups. Vilofoss is part of the DLG group.


Primefeed is a farrowing and weaning products series developed on the basis of state-of-the-art knowledge about nutrients and high quality raw materials.


Your primary tasks will be:


  • Elaboration, maintenance and development of a clear sales strategy
  • Development by cooperation with distributors: increase in volumes, turnover, margin and market shares
  • Providing support for sales representatives
  • Technical and commercial approach with customer
  • On-farm support to distributor
  • Frequent travelling within Europe
  • Regular reporting
  • Responsible for own sales budget with high growth rate ambition


What you ideally bring with:


  • A corresponding degree in a field of agriculture or a similar background
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales, preferably from feed or practical background from pig production, but with a significant interest in nutrition
  • Open minded, proactive personality
  • Ability to work independently with own planning and outreach sales, but also working in a team with other Key Account managers in Europe
  • Strong business English is mandatory
  • Flexibility will be highly appreciated

Job location:


Not fixed, anywhere in Europe. The job is expected to involve a high level of travel activity
