Team Leader Farrowing Department with 1,500 pens in Romania

Premium Porc Group is one of the largest pig producers in Romania and operates pig farms across Romania.

Do you like challenges and want to further develop yourself? If you do, we are currently looking for an experienced and results-oriented Team Leader for the Farrowing department in one of the largest pig farms in Romania housing 6,850 sows (breeding – gestation – farrowing – nursery).      

Main functions and responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimize activities in the farrowing department with 1,500 farrowing pens to deliver high-level production results;
• Manage, work closely and develop the team of workers inside the department to reach production targets;  
• Work closely with the farm manager and production manager to optimize overall farm activity and results (breeding – gestation – farrowing – nursery).
• Review activities inside the department and ensure SOP is being followed;
• Play an active role in the overall farm biosecurity program;         

Ideal candidate has/is: 

• +5 years relevant experience managing a farrowing department in Denmark with proven high-level production results;       
• Proven experience managing team of workers; willing to work-hard together with the team and show the way forward;    
• Very ambitious individual with strong desire to continuously improve and achieve high level production results;
• Open-minded with good communication skills;   
• Structured approach, know how to prioritize while managing multiple balls in the air;     
• Speaking Romanian and good skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Cloudfarms and Microsoft Office package.
