Production leader - weaner & finisher pigs

A hands-on leadership role in a modern, large-scale pig production business.

Polnovakia Agrar is looking for an experienced, ambitious and dedicated production leader to take daily operational responsibility for an important part of our pig production, focusing on weaner and finisher pigs.

The opportunity

This is a practical leadership position, for a strong pig production professional, whi wants to drive performance every day. You will be visible in the barns, close to people and animals, and responsible for turning good production principles into consistent results. 

You will join a mature agricultural organization with plant production, feed production, animal production and energy activities, supported by established administrative and technical functions. 

Your key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations in selected weaner and finisher pig units, with focus on animal welfare, production stability and measurable performance.
• Be present in production; coach employess and ensure consistent routines for hygiene, feeding, climate, health and biosecurity.
• Use production data and practical observations to identify improvement areas and follow up with concrete actions.
• Cooperate closely with external teams around health, feed, technology etc.
• Share knowledge across the organization and strengthen production culture

Your profile

• Solidpractical experience from pig production, preferably larger-scale weaner and/or finisher production.
• Strong professional base and ability to convert theory into routines that work in the barn.
• Ambitious, structured and performance-oriented, but also approachable and cooperative.
• Hands-on leader who prefers to be close to daily production.
• Good English, Slovak/Slavic languages are an advantage.
